Mission Statement

At Exploration Empowers, we are dedicated to engaging students with disabilities in the full planning of their dream trips, giving them the autonomy to choose activities, attractions, dining, and accommodations.

Our mission is to cultivate essential skills such as planning, problem-solving, budgeting, and time management.

We aspire to enable these students to experience their dream trips at no cost through our nonprofit, fostering independence and enriching their lives through travel around the country.

Program Details and Guidelines

The Exploration Empowers program offers students the opportunity to embark on a 1-night, 2-day trip, with funding provided for both the student and one guardian.

All trips are designed with safety and success in mind while students fill out their Exploration Empowers Workbook. Students must also be accompanied by a guardian who is at least 26 years old.
